Background

Lisa is currently the instructor for BUS 101: Introduction to Business Majors, Careers, and Professional Skills, a course she has taught since 2009. In addition, she teaches a Senior level Management class: MGMT 437: Developing Management Skills. She has extensive experience teaching professional skills for business students, especially underclassmen and has a passion for working with college students in the areas of career development and exploration.

Lisa has been with the KU School of Business since 1995 and has served the school and university in many capacities. She is the former Assistant Dean for Student Services and Human Resources for the School of Business. In addition, she has served as the Director of the Business and Engineering Career Services Partnership and the MBA Career Services Coordinator. Before coming to KU, Lisa spent four years as an individual and group therapist at the Oklahoma State University Counseling Center. She has her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in counseling and student personnel from Oklahoma State University.
