Edwards Campus BBA

For adult non-traditional students in Johnson County and the metropolitan Kansas City area, the KU School of Business offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the KU Edwards Campus.  This program provides adult non-traditional students the opportunity to balance work & family commitments with a program of study designed to develop a versatile business acumen.  Fundamentally different from the traditional Lawrence program in that it is delivered via late afternoon & evening courses that meet once weekly, the BBA program still offers the same exceptional instruction and AACSB-accredited curriculum.
Flexible Edwards Campus course schedules make it easy for full-time employees to earn their KU business degrees as part-time students.  A short drive from virtually anywhere in the Kansas City metro, the KU Edwards Campus offers local access to the KU business program, personalized academic support, and myriad KU student resources; all within a convenient full-service campus in Overland Park near I-435 & Quivira.
The Bachelor of Business Administration prepares students for a broad variety of positions in both large organizations and small businesses, public and private, non‐profit and profit‐seeking.  It provides exposure to a broad range of topics such as business law, economics, finance, management, marketing, operations management, and international business.  Students in the BBA program will sharpen their verbal and written communication skills, develop an aptitude for technology, practice data analysis, and realize a global perspective on business.  Optional topics include cost management, business ethics, customer service, entrepreneurship, human resource management, information systems, leadership, strategic marketing, project management, and supply chain logistics.  The BBA program represents a strong professional business education within a broad liberal arts context and is designed to mix business theory with practical knowledge and professional skills, to prepare tomorrow’s business leaders.
