Through the school's executive education programs, managers and their employers can reach lofty goals and set new height. Programs are carefully designed to teach managers to quickly identify and solve problems before they cause real damage. More than that, managers learn to lead and inspire others to accomplish strategic objectives.

KU School of Business executive education programs are immersive and can be customized to fit specific wants and needs of managers and companies. Programs feature our faculty experts who draw from their extensive research to share competitive tactics and communicate effective leadership skills.


Advanced Leadership Seminar

The Advanced Leadership Seminar is a one-week, customized program that draws on the tenets of leadership and change to establish a collaborative learning environment focused on understanding how to lead organizations through dynamic change. The seminar leverages distinctive strategic and conceptual thinking processes to guide leaders through the experience of understanding, visualizing and leading change.

Program participants are encouraged to stay in downtown Lawrence, in the cultural center of one of Kansas' most historic cities. Daily classes are conducted on the main University of Kansas campus, Monday through Friday. Upon completing the seminar, participants are awarded an Executive Education Certificate from the University of Kansas School of Business.

This program targets leaders at all levels of the organization, including high-potential future leaders.

Participation registration fees:

  • Military/federal/state participants = $1,750/week
  • Corporate participants = $3,000/week

  • Aug. 3–7, 2020
