Student & Academic Services

I am originally from Reasnor, Iowa, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Leisure, Youth, and Human Services from the University of Northern Iowa. As an undergraduate student, I was heavily involved in campus activities and discovered a love for the university campus and for helping college students. I continued my education here at KU, earning my Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration. After a 4-year stint in the Southwest, working for Housing and New Student Orientation departments, I moved back to Lawrence in 2011 and am thrilled to be an advisor in the School of Business.

Interests and Hobbies

I’m a bit of a homebody and enjoy cooking and baking, working on house projects, and watching sports. Outside of work and home, I’m an active member of my church and I love trying hole-in-the-wall restaurants – luckily Lawrence has lots of those! I also serve as the staff advisor for the KU student organization KUmana, which works to end hunger here in Lawrence and abroad.
