The 2018 Deloitte/University of Kansas Auditing Symposium will be held on Thursday, May 17th and Friday, May 18th at the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence. The theme of the 2018 Symposium is "Innovations in Auditing”. The Symposium has been held every two years since its inception in 1972.

The Symposium features a mixture of presentations by leading practitioners and academics, and provides opportunities for all attending to join in the discussions. Featured speakers and panel members for the 2018 Symposium include: Joe Ucuzoglu, Chairman & CEO, Deloitte & Touche LLP; Jeffrey Burgess, Grant Thornton National Managing Partner, Audit Services; James Doty, former PCAOB Chair; Christine Botosan, FASB member; Eugene Soltes, Harvard Professor and author of “Why They Do It”; and Cindy Fornelli, Executive Director of the Center for Audit Quality.
