Nikita Annette Haynie serves as a Career Advisor Senior in Business Career Services. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in African American Studies from Clayton State University. She later earned her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. As an undergraduate student at Clayton State University, she was heavily involved in a multitude of student leadership organizations serving as the President and Events Coordinator for Campus Events Council, Resident Assistant for Student Housing, Gamma Phi Beta, Programming Chair for her sorority, and Student Assistant for the Department of Campus Life.

Prior to her current role, she served as the Assistant Director of Sorority and Fraternity Life in the Office Sorority and Fraternity Life, overseeing and advising the Multicultural Greek Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council. During her time as Assistant Director, she advised chapter leaders, supported student involvement, and guided students in adopting successful leadership habits to enhance their chapters. She has involved herself in national associations, serving in the Pan African Network of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) as Co-Chair of the Foundations Mentoring Program. She has successfully put student theory into practice throughout her trajectory while creating inclusive spaces and communities for diverse student populations. She is committed to supporting and impacting collegial experience holistically.
