The Koch Scholars program was established in 2016 at the KU School of Business and the KU School of Engineering. It is funded and supported through a generous gift from Koch Industries.
KU School of Business Undergraduate Scholarships
The Koch Scholars program will award up to seven $5,000 scholarships. The undergraduate scholarships are renewable one time per student, subject to the recipient meeting eligibility requirements as described below.
- Be in good standing with the KU School of Business and have completed a minimum of 36 credit hours and have two years remaining until graduation
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.4
- Be a U.S. citizen
Preference is given to those candidates who are majoring in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management and Leadership, and Supply Chain Management and who have demonstrated leadership and/or service experience in a student, professional, educational, or philanthropic setting.
KU School of Business Graduate Scholarships
The Koch Scholars program will award up to two $5,000 scholarships. Graduate scholarships are one-year, non-renewable scholarships.
- Be admitted to a KU School of Business master’s degree program.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have demonstrated leadership and/or service experience in a student, professional, educational or philanthropic setting, and are entering the KU School of Business Master of Accounting program.
Applicants must complete the online application, including a two-page essay, letter of recommendation and current resume, on or by Nov. 30, 2018.
