School's Twitter site awarded in international creative competition

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas School of Business proves to be anything but "business as usual" once again. The school's Twitter site, @KU_Business, took the gold in the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals' (AMCP) 2012 Hermes Creative Awards.

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals engaged in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. Hermes Creative Awards is administered by AMCP and awards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.

Companies or individuals whose talents go above and beyond a high standard of excellence and serve as a model for the industry are recognized for their achievement and service to the profession.

There were about 4,700 entries submitted throughout the United States and other countries.
