LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas School of Business will open the doors of its new building, Capitol Federal Hall, to the public for an open house from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, May 16.

The four-story, 166,500-square-foot building will be on display with its 20 classrooms, 205 offices, 350-seat auditorium and labs and spaces designed for flexible, student-centered learning and collaboration. It is the largest facility at KU to be funded through private support.

"We are thrilled to share our new home with the KU and Lawrence communities," Dean Neeli Bendapudi said. "We want this new building to be a destination point not just for our business students, faculty and staff but for people from all disciplines."

The School of Business will host a reception for graduating seniors at Capitol Federal Hall on May 13 after the annual recognition ceremony at Allen Fieldhouse. Classes in the new building will begin in June.

Capitol Federal Hall is located at 1654 Naismith Drive. More information about the building can be found at CapFedHall.com.
