Whether you're launching a career in business or building on expertise from another field, the KU full-time MBA provides the knowledge and experience to help you advance with confidence.
Based on the Lawrence campus, this 16-month, cohort-based program is designed for students without a background in business. You'll move through the program alongside a close-knit group of peers while benefiting from personalized support from faculty, staff and a dedicated career coach.
Complete three semesters of coursework, including a summer internship, and graduate prepared to contribute across the operational, financial, and strategic areas of business.
A fellowship for future change-makers
The Patterson Fellows Program is a merit-based scholarship for academically talented students entering KU’s full-time MBA and Master of Science in Business Analytics programs.
In addition to financial support, the program recognizes students who demonstrate strong academic achievement and leadership potential.
To be considered for a GTA/GA/Patterson Fellowship, submit your application by May 1. Interviews are required for selected candidates.

Through a consulting capstone experience supported by the KU Small Business Development Center, MBA students at KU work directly with business owners and organizational leaders to address real challenges and identify growth opportunities.
Under the guidance of lecturer Will Katz, student teams meet with clients, define project goals, research solutions, and present recommendations. The experience helps students strengthen their problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills while making an impact in the local community and region.
A degree with global reach
