Marketing project request form
We are excited to work with you. Our goal is to help you reach your audience(s) while maintaining KU brand standards.
After submission, your project request will be reviewed. We may suggest alternatives to best meet your goals based on our experience. Approved project requests are placed in our queue in the order they were received; someone from the communications team will contact you to discuss your project and follow up with any questions.
If we are unable to fulfill your request, we will attempt to direct you to other resources. Please note: KU-branded templates are available at brand.ku.edu. Please discuss expectations with team members and/or supervisors before submitting your request.
Timeline for requests
We appreciate having the following notice fulfill your request. Please note: All necessary text, photos and other relevant materials for the project must be received before a request will be reviewed.
- 2 weeks’ notice for digital or small-scale print projects (such as handouts, flyers, etc.)
- 6 weeks’ notice for more involved print projects (such as viewbooks, reports, etc.)
- 12 weeks’ notice for large projects and/or development of communications plans or strategies
For events-related materials, your request should be for the date when promotion should begin, not the date of the event. (For example, if you need 3 weeks to promote, you should submit your request 6 weeks out from date of event.) Sufficient lead time ensures we can fulfill your request and others in a professional and timely manner. Please coordinate with all involved parties before submitting your request.
Note: Production and shipping times may vary. Advanced notice is highly recommended for projects. Additional approval from school leadership may be required.
