The full-time experience

A KU MBA provides a premier business education. Based on the Lawrence campus, the full-time MBA is made for people without a background in business. Our small, cohort-based program means you’ll receive individualized attention. You will work closely with a career coach, ensuring your success in a fast-paced 16-month experience. Come to the program where staff and faculty believe in you.

You'll begin with a cohort in the fall semester and complete the 48-hour program over three semesters, including a summer internship.

Under the guidance of lecturer Will Katz, MBA student groups advise small business owners, managers and prospective owners.

This capstone experience provides MBA students the opportunity to apply business concepts learned in the classroom to real-world business situations. Students act as professional consultants and meet with clients, scope projects, research solutions and present their findings directly to the business owners.

Earning a KU MBA carries a reputation worldwide. As an AACSB-accredited school, the KU School of Business has earned the most prestigious ranking, allotted to fewer than 5 percent of business programs worldwide.

In addition to its reputation and portability, students can take advantage of KU’s vast and powerful worldwide alumni network. Once you have the degree, your alumni network will help you get your foot in the door.
