Biography

James C. Reeder, III is an assistant professor of marketing at the KU School of Business. His research focus is on better understanding the effects of various sales promotions and personal selling interventions on business-to-consumer and business-to-business transactions. To answer questions in these areas, Reeder employs advanced techniques in causal inference and machine learning. Thus far, his work has been published in Marketing Science and Management Science.

Prior to joining the KU School of Business, Reeder was a part of Daniels School of Business, Purdue University, and received his doctoral degree from the Simon School of Business, University of Rochester.
