Biography

Kelvie Crabb holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting from the University of Kansas. After a decade in the tax industry with Andersen, KPMG, and BlueScope Steel, she returned to KU, where she has since taught courses ranging from financial and managerial accounting to tax and specialized accounting practices.

She and her husband, Jay, live in Kansas City and are the proud parents of four children and grandparents to four grandchildren. Together, they own and operate Mission Barbell Club, a CrossFit affiliate gym, where they've been building community since 2021.

Teaching

I am passionate about creating an inclusive, active, engaging classroom. In my role, I teach a variety of accounting courses, advise MAcc students, and serve as a faculty advisor. The ability to connect with business students throughout their academic career is what I love about teaching! I have the honor of seeing our Jayhawks develop and grow into outstanding professionals.
