Sarah Dees

Sarah Dees grew up in a small town in Oklahoma. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma for her bachelor’s degree and the University of Oklahoma for her master’s degree. Before moving to Lawrence and joining the advising team at KU, she was a secondary school counselor for 10 years working with middle and high school students helping them achieve social-emotional and academic success.  

 

Interests and hobbies 

Dees loves to travel when she has time. Her favorite spots are national parks so she can hike and admire the beautiful scenery. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and dog at home or exploring new places and activities. Her other interests include watching sitcoms and dramas, reading, attending sporting events, and visiting family.
