Biography

Shu Tosaka was born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. He moved to the United States at age of 14 and lived in Iowa for most of his life. He attended Iowa State University for both his master's and undergraduate degrees.

Before joining the staff of the KU School of Business, Tosaka served as an area coordinator at the University of Dayton and Memorial Union program advisor at Iowa State University. He worked as a KU School of Business academic advisor and an assistant director of Jayhawk Academic Advising before his current role as Impact Programs director.

Interests and hobbies

Tosaka's interests and hobbies include sports (basketball, volleyball, golf, and softball) and Pokémon Go. You can often find him playing sports somewhere on campus. He loves cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones when they are not playing against Kansas Jayhawks!
