Sung has completed two master’s degrees in sport studies and higher education and is a doctoral candidate in higher education administration at KU. Before KU, he worked for college students and working professionals counseling and consulting them on their academic transitions for six years.
During his time at KU, he volunteered for many campus organizations such as the International Student Advisory Committee (ISAC) and completed an internship with International Student Services. He lives in Lawrence with his wife, a daughter in ninth grade, and a son in sixth grade.
