Biography

Todd Hall is an Assistant Professor in the Management and Entrepreneurship academic area at the University of Kansas School of Business. He earned his doctoral degree in strategy from Duke University, his MBA from Brigham Young University, and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Brigham Young University. 

His research investigates how organizations evolve as they adopt new technologies. Hall seeks to understand how organizations responded to past technological change with unique longitudinal datasets and studies more contemporary technologies using experiments and simulations. His research has looked at various levels of organization, including firms, divisions, and teams. He has also studied several technologies, including generic software, healthcare IT, AI, and A/B testing. Before starting his doctoral program, Hall helped hospitals implement billing software as a project manager for Epic Systems.
