Biography

Jason Anderson is a faculty member of the Finance academic area and director of the Personal Finance Program for the School of Business at the University of Kansas. He previously worked at a multibillion-dollar financial institution, where he helped develop a first-to-market program in college and career planning for members. These efforts culminated in what is now known as CollegeRoadmap, a suite of digital college-planning tools licensed to financial institutions nationwide. He has multiple years’ experience as an administrator in higher education across university functions leading significant campus center operations and outreach. He also ran a consulting firm in financial services (Gradmetrics) that specialized in college and student loan planning. This business was sold to a private investor in 2024, and he subsequently worked part time as a financial advisor at Intellicents.
