Stephanie L.H. Schmitz

As University of Kansas alumna, Stephanie L.H. Schmitz returned to campus in spring 2020 as a senior career advisor in Business Career Services. Previously, she was as a career and academic advisor with the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon.

Schmitz earned her Master of Education in college student services at Oregon State University with a certificate in college and university teaching. She earned a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in human sexuality from the University of Kansas. Schmitz has presented at conferences on academic advising and women in higher education. She has received an international award recognizing her as an Outstanding New Advisor.
