MBA/Doctor of Medicine (MBA/MD)
The KU Schools of Business and Medicine offer a dual degree program that allows students to earn both a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration in five years. Designed for future physician leaders, the program builds essential business and management skills for today's complex healthcare environment.
Students complete a one-year MBA cohort alongside full-time MBA students on KU's Lawrence campus. The MBA year may be completed prior to medical school or between years two and three or years three and four of the MD curriculum.
This dual degree program prepares physicians to lead practices, organizations and healthcare systems with strong business acumen and strategic insight.

There is a $10,000 scholarship that does not require a GMAT score guaranteed for MBA/MD students. Dual MBA/MD students who take the GMAT will be considered for all MBA scholarships. The MBA scholarships are offered on top of the MBA/MD scholarship.

MBA/Juris Doctor (MBA/J.D.)
The KU Schools of Business and Law offer a dual MBA/J.D. program that allows students to earn both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration in four years. Designed for students pursuing leadership roles at the intersection of law and business, the program integrates two established degree programs into a coordinated curriculum.
Students complete three years of law coursework and one year of MBA coursework. During the MBA year, students step away from the law curriculum to join a full‑time MBA cohort on KU’s Lawrence campus.
This dual degree program prepares graduates to navigate complex legal and business environments with strong analytical, strategic and organizational leadership skills.

MBA/Doctor of Pharmacy (MBA/Pharm.D.)
The KU Schools of Business and Pharmacy offer a dual MBA/Pharm.D. program that allows students to earn both a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration through an integrated curriculum. Designed for future pharmacy leaders, the program combines clinical training with advanced business and management education.
As part of the program, students complete a longitudinal, health care‑focused project that fulfills two required Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations. Working in interprofessional teams of classmates, students develop and deliver solutions for Kansas health care organizations.
MBA/Pharm.D. students join a full‑time MBA cohort in the fall of the sixth year of the Pharm.D. curriculum. Students graduate at the end of August, extending the Pharm.D. program by three months to earn both degrees from the University of Kansas.

MBA/Petroleum Management certificate (MBA/PM)
The MBA program with a graduate certificate in Petroleum Management from the School of Engineering is offered full time on the Lawrence campus. It meets the requirements of active-duty U.S. Naval Supply Corps officers who have been selected by the Navy 811 program.

MBA/Architecture (MBA/M.Arch)
The KU Schools of Business and Architecture and Design offer a dual MBA/M.Arch program for students pursuing leadership and management roles in architecture, development and construction. Through an integrated curriculum, students earn both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Architecture.
The dual MBA/M.Arch program requires four years of study, one year less than completing each degree separately. Graduates gain the business, strategic and operational skills needed to lead projects, firms and organizations across the built environment.

The KU Schools of Business and Health Professions offer a dual MBA/Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program designed for students pursuing leadership and management roles in health care and private practice. Through an integrated curriculum, students develop the business and operational skills needed to lead in an evolving health care environment.
The dual MBA/DPT program features an accelerated curriculum that can be completed in four years. Students step away from the Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum after the second year of coursework to complete the MBA program before returning to finish the DPT degree.
