KU Business instructional faculty members receive promotions
LAWRENCE — Twelve individuals at the University of Kansas Lawrence and Edwards campuses have earned instructional faculty promotions over the past year.
These promotions are determined and awarded through school or departmental reviews, which concluded by early summer. Promotions for tenure-track faculty and scholarly positions follow a separate process that is reviewed by the University Committee on Promotion and Tenure and approved by the chancellor.
Arash Mafi, chief academic officer, provost and executive vice chancellor, and Amy Mendenhall, vice provost for faculty affairs, extended their commendations.
“These educators represent some of the best in teaching and research excellence,” Mafi said. “Congratulations on this accomplishment and reaching a new highlight in their careers. We appreciate their dedication and service to the university and wish them continued success.”
Promotions became effective by the start of the fall semester.
