Biography —
Ajmal Basheer is a doctoral student in marketing at the University of Kansas. His research explores how consumer political ideology can impact consumption, and how product design impacts brand perceptions and choices.
Prior to joining the doctoral program at KU, Basheer worked as a graduate teaching/research assistant at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode in India. He also has experience working as a manager developing digital platforms for smallholder farmers and farmer producer organizations.
