Biography

Allison Rivers is originally from Gulfport Mississippi, and moved to Ottawa, Kansas, in 2018 to pursue a degree in the medical field. She is proud to represent Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College as a Hall of Fame recipient and Ottawa University not only as a collegiate athlete, but also as a recipient of the Presidential Scholar Award. During her undergraduate, Rivers was involved in multiple organizations where she held positions on their boards. She found a passion for event coordination once on campus and decided to turn that passion into a career. Rivers found herself moving to Lawrence, Kansas, to pursue this career where she began at a local assisted living home as a program director. She completed her master’s in hospitality management from the University of Mississippi.
