Biography —
Chip Sitzman has 15 years professional experience working in higher education, primarily working with residence life, student conduct, crisis intervention, service learning programs and leadership development/student organization advising. He returns to higher education after taking a break to serve as a stay-at-home dad to his three children, two of whom are now college students and one more in high school. Their family includes his wife who is an intellectual property attorney, and Zeke, the family's chocolate Labradoodle. For fun, Sitzman is a steward for an orchard that raises fruit for his church’s food pantry, volunteers at the food pantry, is an adult leader and merit badge counselor for several Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts) troops, and likes to garden and cook. He also is a certified human sexuality instructor for youth through their church’s religious education program.
