Erin Whitehurst joined the University of Kansas faculty in 2022. She teaches hundreds of undergraduates each year on the most cutting-edge, emerging topics in business, such as the future of work, data and tech trends, the future of health, blockchain, climate change, and corporate social responsibility. Outside of KU, Whitehurst has spent the last decade as a management consultant at Deloitte, focused on strategy, operations, M&A, and talent development. Today, a senior manager, she leads a team focused on emerging market strategy and business development.

Whitehurst serves on several boards, locally and internationally, including the Lied Center of Kansas and Bodhi Surf & Yoga in Costa Rica.
