Kenzie Freeman

Kenzie Freeman attended the University of Kansas for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. She started her career in the Dallas office of PwC, working as an external auditor in the asset and wealth management industry. Her favorite part of US GAAP is ASC 946 – Investment Companies, as this guidance governed her time at PwC. After four years at PwC, Freeman left to become an accounting lecturer at the KU School of Business.

A homegrown Lawrence "townie," Freeman moved back to Kansas in the summer of 2025 and lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with her soon-to-be husband.
