Interests and hobbies

As a lifelong coffee and tea fanatic, Cottrell can often be found in a local coffee shop. However, most of his spare time is dedicated toward singing with the Central Standard chorus in Kansas City, as well and his barbershop quartet, Fission. When he has a moment, Cottrell enjoys meeting new people, rock climbing, spoiling his dog, playing instruments, eating, watching anime, taking road trips, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
