International business professor named AIB fellow
LAWRENCE — The Academy of International Business (AIB) has selected Tailan Chi, University of Kansas international business professor and Carl A. Scupin Faculty Fellow, as an AIB Fellow.
The AIB is the leading association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business. It has 3,156 members representing 87 countries.
AIB Fellows are selected from within the membership as distinguished contributors to the field of international business. Fewer than 2 percent of AIB members are named AIB Fellows.
Chi joined the School of Business faculty in 2003 and has greatly contributed to scholarship in international business and strategic management. He serves as consulting editor for the Journal of International Business Studies and an editorial board member for Strategic Management Journal, Journal of World Business and International Journal of Strategic Change Management.
Chi’s research interests span from modes of entry into foreign markets to the organizational structures of multinational corporations.
