Master of Accounting program earns top ranking
LAWRENCE – The University of Kansas School of Business Master of Accounting (MAcc) program has earned the No. 9 spot in a ranking of the top programs in the country.
SR Education Group’s list of the 2016 Top Accounting Graduate Programs reflects the top 14 schools based on student feedback across seven areas, including student diversity, degree satisfaction and quality of instruction.
Professor Keith Jones directs the business school’s accounting and information systems area, with Lisa Ottinger as director of the MAcc program.
“We are very excited to be named as one of the top schools in this list,” Ottinger said. “The rankings represent programs all across the nation and are based on student reviews, meaning the KU MAcc program earned an extremely high satisfaction rating from graduating students.”
The rankings are part of SR Education Group’s 2016 Top Graduate Schools and Programs, which were published in July and are based on the insights of more than 51,000 students. The education research publisher announced more than 35 rankings of both traditional and online programs.
The group’s mission is to be the most authoritative online resource to help students choose the best school for their career aspirations and budget.
The full list of rankings is available on SR Education Group’s Graduate Programs website.
