I am currently serving as vice president of my sorority here on campus, Kappa Delta.

Why did you choose your major?

I always knew I wanted to work with people and be a problem solver for a company. I love being someone to work behind the scenes and helping others to benefit whatever experience they are navigating. I chose Management and Leadership with an emphasis in HR so that I am able to do that and hopefully learn to lead groups of people. I added International Business so that wherever I choose to work, I can know how to work internationally and communicate effectively with those who do not know the customs of the U.S.

I am also minoring in Spanish because I love the culture and think that knowing a second language will open doors for me to communicate with as many people as possible. I love learning about new places and new people's background and I think the KU School of Business really helps you do that. Not only are there so many opportunities here; they push you so that you are well-prepared for the real world and it has been such a great learning opportunity.
