Biography

Lisa Bergeron joined the University of Kansas in 2003. She currently teaches hundreds of students finance each year at the University of Kansas. She also continues to work at Hallmark Cards Inc., where her current primary project is assisting in the development and launch of a new women's lifestyle magazine. She has worked at Hallmark for over four years primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and new business ventures. Additionally, she spent a year as the controller of a business-to-business website that Hallmark developed and spun-off as a subsidiary. Before joining Hallmark, Bergeron worked in financial consulting at Ernst & Young LLP, where she specialized in assisting banks and corporations with their cash management.
