Master of Accounting Full-time
MAcc faculty consistently win prestigious awards for their research and teaching. The faculty’s commitment to research not only means students are learning the most current information, they’re learning from the researchers who’ve created it. Faculty have received numerous teaching awards given by the School of Business and the University, reflecting their dedication to teaching.
Small class sizes facilitate an interactive, discussion-oriented classroom experience. Although the majority follow a traditional in-class model, limited online and hybrid classes provide flexibility and convenience to student schedules.
10-week spring semester and integrated CPA review
Our unique 10-week spring semester and integrated CPA examination review program provides students the opportunity to earn their CPA credentials before they start to work.
Notable alumni and the Jayhawk brand
MAcc students have access to a powerful worldwide alumni base. With a high placement rate by graduation, MAcc graduates are employed in major metropolitan areas across the country and world.
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) awards the highest standard of achievement in business education worldwide. Not only is the School of Business as a whole AACSB-accredited, but the accounting program also holds the distinction. Less than 5 percent of the 15,000 business programs worldwide earn an AACSB accreditation, and even fewer programs are dually accredited. Attending an AACSB-accredited program ensures students receive relevant coursework taught by highly qualified faculty who are working on the most current issues in the profession.
